If Davis Payne is still an interim coach, he's failing his tryout. This team has officially quit. No youth playing, no effort, no intensity...nothing.

And the Blackhawks won't even fight.

To disagree, one doesn't have to be disagreeable.

Wow, didn't know Walt announced his retirement today. He's talking about it with the Hawks announcers.

Can we start the freakin' youth movement now? About time.

As long as we don't get a Brett Farve out of Tkachuk I'll be happy next season.

The reason the Blues would be playing with a hop in their step is... ?

Cut em a break. They battled week after week for a long ass time. You don't do that and then not have a deflation at the end when it doesn't pay off. These guys are human, it's expected.

I'm sure they're not doing it on purpose.

You don't want to call up Rivermen players right now; they are in the midst of a playoff hunt. Why ruin their season for us to win three meaningless games?

You don't go into a game: "Oh, I think we should suck ass."

They lost, but they are still professionals.

The only question that I have is why is Cam Janssen playing over D.J. King? King is a better fighter, better player and obviously more feared (see Sports Illustrated). Is management telling us Janssen is staying and King is going over the summer? If we keep one of them, I really hope its King.
