That is frustrating. But its hard for me to stay mad at them because I so incredibly amazed that they won two shootouts in a row.

Couldn't watch the game, but I'm glad we got the 2 points.

I just wish we would start earning them in a more commanding fashion.

My concern is that we keep giving western conference teams OT points. The kings could well be the team we contend with for a playoff spot, possibly the 8th spot at that. We should have won this game in regulation.

If we had any kind of a power play whatsoever, we wouldn't be going to OT as much, obviously. But, of course if Mason and Conklin weren't standing on their heads this season we'd have a lot more losses.. I don't know, I am just glad we won.

I agree, you can't give points away like that. But at this point last season the Blues were trending down towards last place. They have been more competitive than they were at this point just a season ago and I think they are getting better and better.

My shootout jest was just that... in seasons past I almost wouldn't even watch the shootout because you knew they'd go 0-3. Now they seem to have settled down and figured it out... a shoot out isn't an automatic loss these days.

We also stole 2 points from the Sharks. I guess my point is that with 15 teams and a plethora of OT's and shootouts over the course of the year, it all evens itself out.

Some knob came in here and started talking all kinds of foreign nonsense; spouting off rhetoric that almost led me to believe the Blues are - or at least have the potential to be - average or *gasp* good.

I was thinking the same thing, untill I saw that we're 3 and 3 this year in the shootouts and we were 6 and 6 last year. I guess the recent success made it feet better.
