BLUES TO HONOR BRETT HULL’S HALL OF FAME INDUCTION ON DEC. 15 VS. FLAMES
ST. LOUIS, Nov. 10, 2009 – With his retired No. 16 hanging in the rafters of Scottrade Center and the Blues playing host to his original NHL club, the Calgary Flames, Brett Hull will return to St. Louis on Tuesday, Dec. 15 to honor another milestone in his career: induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
Pre-game ceremonies on Dec. 15 will begin at 6:45 p.m., during which time Hull will address fans at Scottrade Center.
Hull joined the Blues in 1988 and in his first season with the team scored 41 goals to capture the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy. During the 1990-1991 season, he scored a career-high 86 goals to earn the Lester B. Pearson Trophy and the Hart Memorial Trophy as the league’s Most Valuable Player, only to follow with another two 70-plus goal seasons.
Internationally, Hull represented the United States at the Winter Olympics (1998 and 2002), the 1996 World Cup, the 1991 Canada Cup, and the 1986 World Championships. He retired with an illustrious 741 goals, 650 assists, and 1,391 points.

Meh... the guy left us for Dallas and eventually ended up with Detroit, our arch-rivals...
Sure he had great years in STL, but geez.... WHY DALLAS AND DETROIT? Fans loved him in STL... shouldn't have left.
