Some of you probably know me, but you may not be aware of the online blog that I have. Take a look, its in my sig.

The reason that I am writing this is because I am wanting to conduct an interview with a TRUE Rivermen fan. I want to go into the psyche of a Rivermen fan's head. The kind of questions that would be asked would be such things like: How do you feel when the Blues call a player up? Do you get excited when a player goes through the ranks and leaves your team for the big NHL squad? How closely do you follow the Blues and Aces? Etc.

This would be non-paid, so it would be out of the goodness of your hockey-loving heart. You would get recognition on my blog, as well as getting a link to the article all over the internet. With that being said, you would have to be comfortable with having your name posted online.

I want to conduct this in about a week, and the article would be posted in about a week and a half from now. If I get enough people who want to get involved, I could select two or three people to do this as well. I would even be willing to e-mail a list of possible questions before the interview, so you could be better prepared for any tough question I may throw at you.

Simply respond to this thread or private message me if you are interested. ONLY SERIOUS RIVERMEN FANS NEED RESPOND.

Thanks!

Actually, no one has responded yet. So I am going to go onto an actual Rivermen fan message board.

Things kinda go away quick when the Rivs either don't make the playoffs or are eliminated early. May be kinda tough finding anyone til September.

Just a quick answer to some of your questions... Most of us feel great when we see one of ours or Alaska's guys move up... IF he's being called up to play. If he just sits in the stands every night we'd rather have him back and in game shape for when he does get his call.
Personally, I'm a fan of AA hockey. I love watching the guys work their tails off fighting for a job. The hockey may be better at the AAA level but I think the determination is better at the AA level.

Peoria was spoiled for a while with great caliber teams that were annual contenders. The last few years have been a struggle and quite honestly, we don't have that long of attention span to back a mediocre team year after year.
