4 or 5 mill for a 3rd line defender.

Pronger was traded for Brewer...so right away he was screwed.
But Brewer was supposed to be solid.
Not only did Brewer suck, their wasn't one redeeming quality about his game. He seemed apathetic on the ice, he didn't hit, he didn't fight, he didn't score, not only was he bad defensively but he seemed to make glaring mistakes that every game led to at least one goal against, he never yelled, he never showed emotion...he didn't even particularly skate that well. If you are going to suck, at least play with a passion on the ice so the fans can find one reason to root for you.

During his tenure here, the only time the Blues made the playoffs, is when he missed most almost the entire season and all of the playoffs due to injury. He returned the following season, and what happens? We miss the playoffs again.

And this man was our captain. If you want to talk about the most far away polar opposite of what Blues fans actually want/need in a captain, Eric Brewer was it.

For some reason, he was treated as a top tier defender by Murray and Payne. And for some reason, he had his defenders on another Blues forum...which was irritating to say the least. Idiots.

I was ecstatic we got a 3rd round pick, plus a prospect for him. I was giddy that day.

I have never been irritated more by a Blues player than I was with Brewer.
He was god awful horrible.
I could go on forever...and then you'd find out how I really feel about him.

I was worried that since you could only see half of her right leg that maybe that was her artificial leg in the background.
