i keep forgetting this is a red wings forum. OOPS! it's not. its a blues forum! looks like this forum belongs to BLUES fans, not red wings fans. so i think that blues fans starting a thread like that in a blues forum is perfectly in order. why exactly would you start a thread like that here? on a blues forum?

Not even the same thing. What I rubbed in their faces was their prediction that the Wings would "take a step back" this season. Even you would have to admit they had that one coming. It's going to suck balls, no doubt.

But I think he can continue to play at an elite level for a few more years, and he apparently wants to (working on a new contract, etc.) so it's not imminent, at least.
