It's from last year. I just haven't taken it off here yet. Go ahead and take him.

I think Ace beat you to Palushaj.

Great pair of wins. The Blues are going to be tough this season. They've got staying power to outlast older and physically weaker teams (that should be at least 3/4 of The NHL).

Perron, Oshie, Backes, Berglund, Steen McClement, Crombeen were all flying around, winning battles for the puck, and crashing their bodies into opponent players. That wore on Detroit, until they were unable to compete in both 3rd periods. That's what won the two games for The Blues. Tkachuk, McDonald, Kariya and Boyes also joined them in that for much of the game. E.J. got better and better as the 2 games progressed. Polak played well. Colaiacovo looked better in the 2nd game. I wouldn't play him on the point on The PP for a while. Kariya looked good there, instead.

Conklin made a lot of excellent saves, but he was TERRIBLE at handling the puck, sending passes to Red Wings, tapping the puck lightly off the boards to a Red Wing, when trying to clear it. I guess he was rattled by the pressure. He needs to be less panicky with it, and hold it longer until he can find a teammate to pass it to. The team won despite his handing the puck to the opponent many, many times (often still within the defensive zone). That's really not acceptable.

Also, Jackman stood flatfooted, watching the play several times. He may have been trying to conserve energy, but that could have led to a couple of goals. Good that The Blues have better defencean depth this season, so he won't have to play 23 min. per game. Sydor wasn't tremendously effective. But, at least he made some effort to get to the puck every time, and get in the way of opponent forwards. I'd still like to see what Bell and Junland can do at The NHL level.

Maybe, but it doesn't surpass Twitter.

I never sponsored anyone prior to this season (unless you count Castlevania or Hulkamania as a sponsorship), but sponsorship time always gets me psyched about the season even if I didn't partake in years past...

I caved this season... there are just too many reasons to be excited about the Blues. Won't be caving on Twitter anytime soon though.

Sorry for the mistake, Bern.
You will not regret this.

Unlike these other wannabees, you have a living and breathing sponsorship right here on the board.

I will always have your back. You get in an argument, just call Bernie down like the thunder and I will rip into your opposing poster and explain to them why you are right and awesome.

Right or wrong, I have your back.

Any volunteers for an EJ sig? If I had to make it myself, it'd be Paint stick figures. :)
