When I see someone wearing a Cam Janssen jersey I pretty much assume they have no idea what's going on out on the ice until there is a fight.

After watching the pre-game show segment "Cat Fight" I would embarrassed. If you cant name who was the captain before Brewer, and the last defense man to wear the C before Brewer, get the f-ck out.

On Tuesday night there was some stupid ass kid in the upper bowl whining to have Cam out there to start a fight in the last 10 minutes. I just want to yell at em.

Yeah, it is pretty pathetic. The guy in the jersey in the cat fight tonight was the epitome of this thread.

i'll admit it took me a second to remember who was our captain before Brewer. My first thought was Pronger, then I had an "ohhh yeah" moment.

Agreed.

It’s nothing more than a ‘freak show’ on the side stage. Sure it used to be a critical part of the game. ‘Tough Guys used to keep opponents honest and got their own star players more ice. Now it’s nothing more than theater. It’s enjoyable to watch, but it has ZERO effect on the game other then the fact that you are wasting a valuable roster spot on a guy that does nothing to help you win the game.

Like everyone else I remember the days of a ‘goon’ jumping over the boards and destroying someone because they got their stick up on Hull, but that’s just not today’s hockey.

It’s not as if Cam is out there laying licks and getting the other team off their game. He misses on 9 of 10 attempts to check opponents, yet the home fans cheer because it makes a lot of noise when he hits the boards (all on his own).

I hate that Murray has made me hate Cam, but that is what it’s come to. AM dresses him too much and skates him too much when he is dressed.

I think the only people on the Cat Fight show are richy mother (Frankers) who dont know shit about hockey and just came to impress some customers =/
