Tied it up 2-2, but I'm wondering...where did the semi-attractive middle aged blonde with the impressive chest sitting directly behind the Stars bench go? She was an effective distraction.

The Blues made 4 terrible passes in a row. They are getting really sloppy. And they are losing most of the puck battles now. They'd better start playing better.

Very bad! The Blues should have won this game. The failed to score on several easy chances. And now they HAVE to win in Dallas, where they don't get the matchups.

Lame...race home from the meeting to turn on the game just in time to see Dallas score.

Dallas played as shitty as in game 3. Blues managed to equal the Stars. Sad.

Well, now we're down 2-2 in the series, or at least it feels like being down. I said it before, lose game 4 and you lose game 5 too. Better hope this thing goes 7 and pray for the best.

Yea if anything I think maybe the Blues got a little TOO comfortable and confident with this series and it revealed itself with casual and sloppy play at times last night. They still played hard but it wasn't quite the dogged determination...

Tarasenko's goal was sweeeeet. He just stared down Lehtonen like "what am I gonna do? What am I gonna do? Boop! Goal" haha. He is so good in the clutch.

Disappointing loss. Now back to Dallas, and the Blues have to win 2 out of the last 3 games.

On the flip side, Dallas has to win 2 out of the last 3 games in order to eliminate us. And I have to be honest- given this matchup, I still think we are more likely to take 2 of 3 from Dallas than they are from us.

Make it happen.

The difference in this game? Tarasenko hitting the post on his breakaway. If that goes in, we go up 2-0 and the roof comes off the building and I think the game is completely different.

I don't know what Edmundson was thinking. That was an awful, awful pass. Even if it wouldn't have been intercepted in the zone, it would have been at center. He had a ton of time and for some inexplicable reason he rushed the pass, almost blindly throwing it up the middle. It's a shame, because he has been really, really good in the playoffs...just made a huge mistake.

Absolutely putrid show in the first period against a goalie on the ropes. Reverted to not knowing how to finish.

Best of three now. Win two or another failed season.

I refuse to be mad at last night's game. Both teams played like warmed over frozen dog shit. Dallas certainly has the advantage now. However, I'll take Ells over Lehtonen any day of the week. And I'd take Lehtonen over Niemi.

I still think we see one or both of the injured Stars back in this series. That will provide them a boost. On the other hand, we beat them when they had a full roster and we didn't most of the regular season. If last night was the desperation hockey we will see from Dallas, I'm liking our chances.

I cringe and expect disaster every time Joel Edmundson or Carl Gunnarsson touches the puck. They lived up to expectation.

The swings of the playoffs are crazy. After winning game 2 and dominating game 3, felt like all we needed to do was win game 4 at home to put the series squarely in our favor. Even go up 1-0 in game 4.

Now, instead of feeling like the series is over, we're tied and have to win on the road again. I think we can do that, but it's crazy what the difference between 3-1 and 2-2 is especially when a single break in the game could have swung it in our favor. And, if we win tomorrow, then it will feel like the series is ours again.

I'm a lot more down about this loss than any other in the playoffs so far though. Not because of how we played. We played decent enough. Just really disappointing to be 2-2 instead of 3-1.

Lehtera needed to bury that shot. All the Blues were around the net which allowed Dallas to do a quick counter offensive which left Cody wide open. But he also placed the shot perfectly too.

That shot was a complete snipe. I don't know what goalie in the league would've stopped it. Kudos to him for being able to get it there. I don't like it, but that was a nasty shot.

Lehtonen played the best game of the series last night by either Dallas goaltender. I really hope he hasn't suddenly caught fire because he and Elliott were going toe to toe last night and it made me quite nervous.

I had a pretty bad feeling about this one about midway through the second and even after the Blues tied it up. There's something about not doing anything with the momentum you gain (like the Blues had for much of the first period) that always seems to come back around. You think of the Tarasenko clank off the post, some of the key saves that Lehtonen made in a scramble early on...just a rough go.

It's amazing how I personally went from very optimistic to very pessimistic about this series. Game 1 didn't have me this down...Game 4 did. Ironically, both games featured us dominating early on, not cashing in, then letting Dallas take over, dictate play, and snag the win.

One thing is for sure and that's that the Blues never make this easy.

Wait til you get to round 4 - your nerves will be even more a wreck. And when it's over and if the Blues win it all trust me you will feel exhausted and realize that the cup truly is the hardest trophy in all of sports to win. It's been an odd playoffs this year but fun games. I still think the Blues take this series just due to the fact that tending is a big problem still for Dallas - the Stars can only win with an overwhelming offense. Sharp looks impressive and shows his veteran presence for them. I'm also amazed at how much more wide open this series has been played compared to ours which for the first 4 games was very tight defensively.
