Blues wearing Cardinals jerseys in warmup

This franchise has such an inferiority complex. This is just about the dumbest idea I've ever seen. No wonder you get playoff games moved to secondary stations and treated in the media like a redheaded stepchild.

I mean, the Cardinals are returning the favor in September by wearing Blues jerseys for batting practice. I don't understand what is upsetting about two teams in the same city showing support for each other.

Exactly.
I think any fan who is upset about this is the one that has the inferiority complex.
Nothing wrong at all with cross promotion and supporting the other franchises in town.
I think it's great...especially since the Cardinals will be wearing Blues themed baseball jerseys during batting practice for the start of the next season for the Blues.

That detail was not mentioned in the story. If they come off okay, I would feel better about this. We'll see. Or get STLFC in on this, too. Blues soccer jerseys would be pretty awesome.

I totally agree! Hockey is already buried at #3 here (some say #4 behind college basketball) so let's bury ourselves further by promoting another sport!

I've been here DECADES and I've never seen the BARFbirds do anything about the Blues or even mention them! Plus in September it will be the playoff chase in baseball and I doubt they'll be thinking about the Blues.

This made me scratch my head because the Cards don't need the promotion, but since the promotion goes both ways, I think its a nice way for the teams to support each other.

It remains to be seen if the Cards do anything for the Blues. I've never seen them do anything before so I'm dubious.

Bill DeWitt III said publicly on both FSN and KMOX that they will be wearing Blues jerseys for BP in September. Why would he lie? I have no reason to doubt him.
