After reading your comment I started singing "Sink The Bismark" in my mind. Dallas went down like the Hood lol.

Why keep watching? So I can say to myself: yeah, we keep at it-maybe we can catch Colorado in a couple years?
For real, the Blues just had a great season.dmiles2186 wrote:The power of positivity!ecbm wrote:Won't be watching any more NHL, likely until next playoffs.

Well you can't go 0-82 and still make the playoffs...Nyghtewynd wrote:Which part was the great season: the 82 games that didn't count, or the six that did?

I'm good with that. After that, I would probably go with Boston.Misc. Blues wrote:Since the Blues are out I say take the Cup back to Canada...Go Habs!!!
So basically, if MN beats the Hawks, you will be rooting for them the rest of the way?Kerfuffle wrote:Obviously I'm pulling for the Blackhawks to keep going but if they don't then I will root for the team that has never won it or has the longest drought. So that would either be Minnesota, San Jose, Philly, or Columbus. Everyone else that is left has already won it recently so I can't support those teams.
This is easy for me, I'm a Kings fan now. They are built very much like the Blues from a personnel standpoint, and their success can be used as a blueprint for the Blues. They were also a part of the same 1967 expansion as the Blues were.dmiles2186 wrote:Obviously 'anyone who plays the Blackhawks' is going to be the #1 answer, but besides that? Or are you just done with the playoffs now that the Blues are gone?
Could it be possible that it wouldn't have mattered, because we didn't have the players we needed to go all the way? Our D is without question but the last few years scoring has been the bugbear. I think this would frustrate them more than anything. They have all the heart in the world, but they're still missing pieces, so why antagonize them? All that's going to do is have players on the line with their agent saying "Get me out of here."HockeyGuy73 wrote:I hope Chicago wins it again, just to shove it down the Blues throats. I hope we open next season in Chicago and have to watch them raise the banner. Maybe that will be enough to piss them off and motivate them. I want them to think about what could have been.
I've come to this same conclusion too. If the Wild win, that 100 million they spent would be a proven investment and not a waste of money. I'm curious to see how it goes for the Wild.ViPeRx007 wrote:Wild or Habs. Everyone else can suck a fat one.
When Dmiles wins the Cup, should they also include the '...' when they engrave his name on it?sseagle wrote:I'm rooting for dmiles...
