I like the logos. The old logos were so-so but I did like the brighter red and blue color scheme, but I think this will look good. Plus, they're going to make an absolute KILLING on merchandise sales over the next year.

I like the old logo better. But I agree they are going to sale a ton of merchandise because everyone in Canada is going to go nuts to get the Jets back.

I understand the need for a new logo from a merchandising standpoint, but I loved the old logo much much more than this one. Hopefully in a few years they bring it back as retro-Jets or something. They should at least wear the old ones for the home opener.

At first I thought it was odd that the blue circle had a notch to accommodate the nose of the plane, but then I realized it doubles as the point of a compass- the "True North."

I think that's why it'll survive. Teams that try to do too much with a new logo end up getting burned or just abandon it down the line because the fans hate it, e.g. Buffaslug, Uterus-Bull

Winnipeg didn't try to over-do it and for that I'll give 'em credit. Just checked on their wiki page though and at least from what I'm seeing on there, the jerseys are NOT going to incorporate red prominently and only be blue, silver and white. THAT would be stupid if true.

One thing that I've heard is that their actual uniform colors are going to be black, silver, and steel blue. If that's the case, I'm going to hate it. The last thing we need are more black jerseys in ANY sport.

I haven't heard red mentioned either and that's really disappointing. I mean at least keep the same color concept!

Icethetics has some sweater mock ups. The logos don't look that bad when attached to some fabric.

Next year they may release a 3rd jersey throwback of the old jersey. I see that happening to make some more $$$.

I don't get it.
This kind of logo would be ok for a new team, but it's the Winnipeg Jets. They couldn't have gone any more opposite than what people want.
Of course, I'm just speculating...I haven't seen a poll of what those fans want...I'm just guessing.
It's what I would want if I were a Jets fan and just got my team back.
