Backes scored his 30th goal. He's a 2 time 30 goal scorer. It's not a fluke, dude's a stud. And as we speak, he had to crawl off the ice.

Jay Mac is already wearing an A for the Avs.

Oshie got in a tussle and didn't mess up his million dollar furnace face cheeks.

Cam and (former Blue for, like, 4 games) David Koci got into a scrap as Reaves was in a fight and got the boot.

Every time he touched the puck. And it wasn't a few scattered boos. I won't say it was a chorus of boos either. I will say that it was a gaggle of boos. Certainly audible on TV.

I agree with "gaggle" but I think that everyone's emotions were up (as well as their BAC) after the fights. However, I tuned in right after the big one around the 10 minute mark in the 3rd, so I if they were doing it the whole game that's just dumb... Almost as bad as a bunch of morons booing the Canadian National Anthem during the Vancouver playoff games. StL fans are better than that.

I don't care if EJ was flipped for Chris Stewart or Gordie Howe or Jesus reincarnate, he still toyed with our emotions for 4 years and amounted to nothing. And, he's a Dive now. We don't need to fellate him anymore, folks. Granted, giving him the Chris-Pronger-in-San-Jose treatment... booing him every time he touches the puck... that's a little extreme. But I'll boo him and every other Dive when they're announced in the starting lineup, you can bet on that.

EJ underachieved here and was traded and then came back here a few days later and scored the goal that tied it late or won it for the AVS late...not sure. And he was more excited about that goal than any goal he ever scored for us.
That pissed me off a bit.

While I certainly understand his perspective for his new club and proving himself, why should we be 'ok' with it form a Blues perspective.

He's the one that couldn't handle Petro's success. He's the 'baby' here.

I loved EJ...almost got and EJ 6 Blues licenses plate...got him to autograph a can of Natty Light...

I did not get the boos for EJ. I could care less who he was playing for but he did not deserve them. If we boo every player over the years that was traded or left the team then the whole game would be a constant boo.

Fun game to be at last night. It had been a while since we beat those bastards.

I personally wouldn't boo him, but I think people who get mad when others boo at a game (aside from national anthems) need to get over it and move on. It's a non-issue really.

I defend everyone's right to boo, I didn't get mad about it, just didn't understand it. As far as the comments he made about the Blues trading him, he said what every other player would say. Oh well, we won, and they're not making the playoffs either. Time to root for the Stars to get 6 points and put some pressure on Chicago.
