Who is ready to be put to sleep for 2 1/2 hours on a Friday night, eh? Someone will win 1-0...in the shootout. Only goal scored all night.

Hah...not sure I'll be home during game time. Probably will watch on DVR, but if I am, I will hit you up. I haven't played COD in forever.

Biggest game of the season....no?

Minn. is in 9th place. We trail them by 5 pts. We lose, we're 7 pts. behind them...and if Calgary wins tonight and we lose, we are 8 pts. out of a playoff spot.

Best case scenario... 3 pts. behind the Wild and 5 pts. out of a playoff spot.
Worse case scenario... 7 pts. behind the Wild and 8 pts. out of a playoff spot.

Huge F'ing game.

I think we're at the point where every game is the biggest game of the season at this point. That's the nature that is the Western Conference. Sure, we've got 30 games to go, but teams can from from 14th to 4th in weeks and right back down weeks after that. It's crunch time.

huge game, could be the start of something big. Relatively healthy and ready to make a run. Remember, before bodies started dropping, this team was 9-1-2, and they can go on a similar run with or without Perron.

Offense fires on all cylinders tonight.

The Wild didn't deserve to get a point out of this game, and they certainly don't deserve to get two. But somehow, the Blues let them tie it. A giftwrapped point to a team we're trying to chase in the standings... brilliant!

Kelly and Pang were bitching about the too many men call... but it was absolutely the right call. Noticed it in real time as they went to the commercial.

completely agree. If there's a snowball chance in hell of making the playoffs, we have to win games like this, in regulation.

And, I was ready to mute my TV when they talked about the TMM. I was thinking we got away with one until McClement said something to Federko.

It's just about time to admit that the 05-06 rebuild was a failure, and that the reason we haven't gone to the playoffs yet is that these players aren't any good. Other than Oshie, Petro, and EJ, it's time for the fire sale. If anyone wants 'em, come get 'em. And it's also time to figure out whether Payne should be retained. This team is terrible.

Hard to put a ribbon around this turd of a game. They snatched defeat from the jaws of victory yet again.
