I think it's by the Hextalls. I have no clue when or where I got it, but I'm guessing that I got it from Limewire or Napster.

I'm not a "Friends in Low Places" fan...but meh.
But Cotton Eyed Joe is a hockey classic.
I remember hearing it when the Blues were playing Calgary, in Calgary back in the 80's. It's synonymous with hockey.
Being a hockey fan and condemning "Cotton Eyed Joe" is...well...almost sacrilegious.
Just sayin'.

Our local minor league baseball team used to have a pitcher named Joe Cotton. Suffice to say, it was obvious when he was coming in from the bullpen.
