I'LL feel better with a SIX (yes count 'em) 6- goal lead. We've survived their big, 1st Period push. Now we can start playing on flat ice again. Let's take possession of the puck, and keep it, and spend the next 2 periods in The Bruins' end, and win this game and series, going away! Let it be said forever more that The Blues earned a victory in this series!

WOW!!! If only Schenn's shot that hit the crossbar had gone in!! It would be 3-0 now, and The Blues would have had a little more breathing room. But then they would have relaxed, and been bombarded until The Bruins would start scoring. So maybe it's better that they stay desperate and keep playing as if they CAN'T allow any goal.

Better 2nd than 1st for The Blues, territorially, and energy expended. They still need to get the next goal. They've been getting a few chances on their forecheck, and from errors by The Bruins. They'll need to get a goal from that source relatively early in The 3rd. Go Blues! WIN this one with authority!
