I was also VERY nervous about the Flames after watching them pepper the Ducks last week. Their top line looked fast and GOOD. Fortunately, it looks like the Blues were prepared after all. Tough game early on, and Elliott definitely had to be top notch, but we solved Hiller after all.

Not quite an inverse of last nights game, but good to see them grind out a win even though Dallas pressed hard.

Pretty lively 1st, I don't feel particularly good or bad about it. We were definitely scrambling around in our own end on a couple of occasions where it looked like we were leaving it up to the Stars to convert on a pretty good chance and just hoping Allen stands tall.

I still think the Blues win 3-0 if the lines aren't all fucked up. Stop putting Steen on a line with Stastny to try to help the latter. Steen is the real star veteran on this team, a mostly home-grown one at that - RESPECT that and give HIM the line mates that make HIM most efficient. Stastny hasn't...
