Re: Grand Theft Auto 4 -- Tuesday
Is it just me or is GTA4 very much harder to play than the last ones? The cars are harder to control, at least. But it's fun. I haven't gotten that far, yet. It's just too much fun crashing in to things, getting into gunfights and crazy car chases with the cops and so on... I can't be bothered with...

Re: New LOST thread!
How long until Claire dies? She has to be the next to go. I'm actually fairly certain she's already dead. Remember how Sawyer said he couldn't believe she survived her house being blown up, and then Miles (the ghost-seeing Asian fellow) kept looking at her strangely and asking her if he could hold ...

New LOST thread!
So, Thursday... WTF. This season has been great, and I think this episode took the proverbial 'what the f*ck' cake. Alpert being there at Locke's birth just kinda floored me...then he comes back again. 'Which of these things already belong to you?' Really? <--- that was me, right there. Then...

AJoede: You obviously weren't on the infield...it isn't about the race so much as the crazy ass party in the middle of what many consider a 'high-class' event. I had a blast this year, it was my first Derby. I went to the betting window and had the girl there give me Big Brown and 5 other random hor...

Re: Indiana-Illinois earthquake!
Apparently I felt it, as I woke up right at that time, but didn't register what it was. I did, however, feel an aftershock about 10 minutes ago. The table and chair where I'm sitting were both shaking all over the place; I could see the trees out the window behind me reflected in my laptop screen a...

The real goal of the grid is, however, to work with the LHC in tracking down nature’s most elusive particle, the Higgs boson . Predicted in theory but never yet found, the Higgs is supposed to be what gives matter mass. Higgs boson is always being overshadowed by his better known but way less imp...

Beer sucks. whiskey rules.all beer is,is bad tasting water. I couldn't disagree with you more. Whiskey is morbidly terrible and how anyone thinks that it tastes good is beyond me. I don't think beer tastes GOOD but its not bad at all and some are actually pretty decent. People value your opinion.

Re: To anyone who saw Lost tonight (2/28/08)....
I just watched the last episode again. I now think the casket was Michael's. It appeared to be in a poor black neighborhood like where he was when he tried to kill himself in the wreck. And he was living under an assumed name. My theory is he did whatever he had to do to appease the island, but he ...

Strocklen's Oceanic 6 'Stone Cold Lock Theory': Question - What do Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sun, and Sayid have in common? (other than all being 815 survivors) Answer - None of these five were anywhere near the Swan station when it imploded and the sky turned purple. Jack, Kate, & Hurley were on the fer...

Re: To anyone who saw Lost tonight (2/28/08)....
Aaron? I guess I missed something. yeah, i'd say you missed something pretty big. Kate is raising Aaron as her "own" child off-island. I did miss the name of the baby. Are we sure it is the same Aaron? Why would Jack not want to see him? It could be Kate and Sawyers baby that was named after the ot...

So, Sun is part of the Oceanic Six, but Jin isn't? I'm curious as to what happened to him since they apparently had his body to bury. Here's my thoughts on this whole Jin gravesite situation: Anyone who didn't make it off the island and therefore not part of the "Oceanic 6" was given the death date...
