If you look at the replay Petro clearly pushed the Wings player into Allen and even the NBC announcer referenced that. I bet that's why the ref said it was a good goal. If Petro didn't push him then the stick would not have been broken. Doesn't matter how the stick broke, Petro could have hacked it...
