We know we can score on these guys....I mean those three goals the other night was like a weeks worth of goals from this group.

Better passing, cleaner play in our own end, and the real Brian Elliot, and this should be a regulation win.

Yup take care of our own business tonight and Thursday and you never know....If Pittsburgh losses a couple games this week, Chicago may sit some guys on Sunday.

I agree with Curt, I think Petro resigns for around 4-5 mill a year on a two year deal. While he could get some 'nice' offers right now, it's nothing compared to what he'll command if he has another season or two like last year. So he won't want to sign anything long term right now. A follow up to my previous post...on a more concerning note: I've harped and harped on our passing skills and look last night...at one point in the third period (before the game was over) they put up a stat with Turnovers...us 15 them 5 .......15.....is that a record?

Last night was a complete team effort (or lack there of), in a way...that kind of makes me feel better.

It was just a bad game, but it behind us and move one.

That was clearly one of Backes' best games, and clearly the best of the year. It wasn't just because he played physical, but his hits were timely.
