Re: Off Season Roster Change Suggestions

I will have a very difficult time watching this team next year if Jackman is still on it. That would be such a colossal mistake after his performance in these playoffs. A -8 in 9 games? Back to back -3 nights in games 2 and 3? Totally unnaccaeptable. He looked brutally slow and completely apathetic...

Re: GDT: 5/3/12 > Game 3 > Blues @ Kings > 9:00 PM > NBCSN

There have been moments the last two games where I actually thought that the Blues players must have all bet against themselves in Vegas or something because they seem to be throwing the games away. Not to take anything away from L.A. , they have obviously outworked the Blues on both ends of the ice...

Re: Blues expected to officially and finally be sold in March

Does anyone have any idea what the payroll situation would look like with this new ownership group? Based on everything I have heard it doesn't sound like our payroll would change much, but I am curious to see if anyone has actually done any research on their financial position going forward. I apol...

This is the equivalant of a Rangers fan complaing of a Midwest bias. How are there human beings on this planet that are so out of touch with reality? Maybe I am just getting old, but man, lately...people are the worst.

Really, really classy by Montreal fans. I can say with certainty that no American teams fans would have responded like that, in fact, I doubt any other fan base would have done that. Have never been to Montreal but that definitely makes me want to take the trip up north. Just shows their respect for...

Re: WhittyBall?

Never...ever..comes through when it counts. Huge overstatement. Not saying I disagree with the not giving him $30m necessarilly, but to say he doesn't come through when it counts is just not correct. He has come through with a ton of clutch hits, maybe not every opportunity, but a lot more than the...

Embarrassing. Whoever made this decision should be fired immediately. I would have preferred this:

Fingers crossed he can make it to camp, but more importantly, here's hoping he can make it back at all.

Re: Blues Sign Jonathan Cheechoo To A 2 Way Deal

I wish the Blues had the Cardinals luck. Cheechoo would replace an injured player in the first half of the year and end up scoring 40 goals. Maybe Cheechoo is tipping his shots and the goalies have picked up on it. Call Dave Duncan!

That Wisniewski deal is ridiculous. Way overpaid, but a nice addition for Columbus.

Re: Fixing Overtime, Shootouts, etc.

If the NHL only cared about the die hard old school hockey fans they never would have eliminated ties. So, since they feel it is of utmost importance to get rid of the tie, then I think it is imperative not to make yet another major change to the structure of a game. I can tell you all the new hocke...

Re: Anyone have an Android phone?

Picked up my new Samsung Epic 4G 2 days ago. The guy that sold me it said not to downlaod the update since it had some issues. Of course, that is what I end up doing that night accidentally and the phone craps out. I had to take it back the next day and get a new one. Aside from that (which I will s...

Re: GDT: Blues @ Predators, 14 Oct 2010, 7PM CDT

We were so bad definsively in the first half of the game, but I loved what I saw in the 3rd. Our penalty killing looked awful for the most part. C- effort, but at least it wasn't an F. I thought Halak looked ok, none of the goals I saw (I missed one) were soft. That toe save when he was sliding to t...

NHL Game Center Live

I was thinking about subscribing this year since I am in Chicago and do not get to see a ton of Blues games. I am not doing Center Ice because my wife is addicted to tv and it will be much easier for me just to be able to watch on my laptop. Has anyone had any experience with Game Center? It's a lit...

Re: Anyone have an Android phone?

I have Sprint and I am totally loyal to them. I have been with them for 10 years and (at least in Chicago) they seem to have the best coverage in the area. My first smartphone was the Palm Centro, which I did not really like at all. I switched to a Blackberry last year (the Tour) and am pretty sick ...

Re: Point Predictions for the '10-'11 season.

82 points 12th spot. I don't have much hope for the team as is. If they added (and subtracted) here and there I could see them maybe making it into a low playoff spot, but not with what we have right now. I just think there are too many teams out there that are better than us at this point.
