I was 17 in 1982 and it was the thrill of a lifetime. This was pretty darn good too. My best friend was lucky enough to be at the game and called me right after it ended. I couldn't hear a word he said over all the celebrating. Hopefully we'll get to celebrate a Blues Cup someday too!

Good points guys! I just didn't like that Bettman misrepresented the numbers by trying to multiply the difference by 30 teams. For the good of the game the two sides should have been able to settle at 45-46. I believe both sides are underestimating the damage done here.

My head is spinning with all the garbage being spewed from both sides. Once they got within 6 mill of the cap the deal should have been done.
