Everyone keeps saying JD, JD, JD.... what if... no it couldn't be.... certainly it's not... Pleau's doing?? Say it ain't so!! Hey, look at my post directly above you. I knew someone would say the exact same thing you did...and I made sure to include Pleau's name because, of course, he is the GM. Bu...

And you're surprised? Terry Frei at ESPN didn't have Big Al making it in this year, he was rooting for Larionov and Glenn Anderson instead of MacInnis and Stevens. Terry Frei should find a new line of work. Big Al and Stevens absolutely deserved to be inducted this year. Congrats to them both!

Wanted to throw my 2 cents into the discussion. I've been assuming all along that the Blues won't be in realistic contention to make the playoffs come trade deadline time. I still believe that will be the case but each victory gives me more doubt. I sure hope the Blues keep winning and prove me wron...

I was 17 in 1982 and it was the thrill of a lifetime. This was pretty darn good too. My best friend was lucky enough to be at the game and called me right after it ended. I couldn't hear a word he said over all the celebrating. Hopefully we'll get to celebrate a Blues Cup someday too!

27 outs away from a world series championship! I wasn't around in 1968, but I remember 1985 all too well. "27 Outs Away" is nice, but I'm not ready to party just yet. Especially considering that timely errors have cost DET two games . These games were lost by shoddy defense, period. One game. Error...

LaRussa has pushed the right buttons so far but I hope he figures out a way to get Encarnacion out of the cleanup spot vs. lefties. He's brutal and it's too easy to pitch around Pujols. Logically it looks like the Tigers should win this but ANYTHING can happen in a 7 game series in baseball. Go Redb...

After the Sharks eliminated the Blues, my buddy and I were serenaded in the parking lot with "What's the matter with Pronger, he's a bum" all the way to our car. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that would be Pronger's last game in a Blues jersey. I've always been one to appreciate Pronger's g...

Good points guys! I just didn't like that Bettman misrepresented the numbers by trying to multiply the difference by 30 teams. For the good of the game the two sides should have been able to settle at 45-46. I believe both sides are underestimating the damage done here.

My head is spinning with all the garbage being spewed from both sides. Once they got within 6 mill of the cap the deal should have been done. It's not as much of a difference Bettman claims because most teams salaries are below 42.5 mill to begin with. The end was the biggest joke of all. The cancel...
