Re: Grade the Offseason

Solid A for me. Only negative I see is the Bergy deal. Ott for Soby I think will be a wash. We got a little more size for the same roll. Face off percentage was just a few points difference, and Ott was playing with a sports hernia that has been repaired. I think with a full training camp, and start...

Re: Who are you pulling for the rest of the way?

I hope Chicago wins it again, just to shove it down the Blues throats. I hope we open next season in Chicago and have to watch them raise the banner. Maybe that will be enough to piss them off and motivate them. I want them to think about what could have been.

It will be nice to see Detroit bow out in the first round. Boston in 5. Maybe 6 if Howard shows up.

This is the big "Dont Care" series for me, but I'll say Rangers in 6, just because I feel compelled to pick someone.

Pitt in 5? I dont know if the BJs have enough to compete with the Pens, unless the Pens take them for granted.

Colorado in 6. Minnesota is a lot tougher than a lot of people give them credit for.

Re: Thoughts on Ryan Miller?

I dont think it matters what Miller does, the Blues are going to do every thing they can to resign him. Army has to try. Allen will be here next year. Only way Elliott would be back is if the Blues are unable to resign Miller. Even then would Elliott want to come back knowing he is their third choice?

Re: Bernie Tries But Misses

JR is the only one over there that seems to know anything about the game, and it seems like Dan O'Neill is doing more and more hockey stuff this season. I hope JR isnt being worked out of his job.

Re: David Backes Getting Some Love from Puck Daddy

For a player to get a lot of love from the national press, he needs to be a guy who has gone deep in the playoffs a few times. That's generally how it works. That's why no one on the Blues is really well known. I know most Blues fan don't feel this way, but the biggest star on our team is probably ...
