CNBC's graphic during the first period pretty much sums the series up...Stewart 0 goals, Berglund 1 goal, Peron 0 goals. When your top 3 of the regular season disappear, it's no wonder why we trail. Your best players have to be your best players, i.e. score goals, and they haven't.

We have our answer.

We COULD have a couple of finishers, but the front office is not willing to open the wallet to get any.

He can replace any of those guys who are not putting the puck in the net...oh yeah, that would make nearly everyone eligible. Why not, he can't score less than 0 goals.

I know we were the better team, but they won the freaking game because we can't score goals. I couldn't care less if we get 6000 chances, if they don't result in goals, It is useless. Additionally, I hate the constant yelps about the officiating. Sure, they suck; they always suck, but if you win 4-1...

I hate the fact if we give up ONE goal, we are in danger of losing every playoff game...pisses me off. Chances don't win games, goals do.

My only regret is Ken Wilson didn't get to call it for us.

Wow. While I will take a win any way you can get it, to me, it almost had that "winner by default" feeling. I'm proud for the guys; they persevered, but we need goal scoring. Now, I have to get the batteries changed in the old pace maker before tomorrow.

That's what happens when you have players "getting chances", rather than actually scoring goals...all of that hard work...gone.
